BEVERLY HILLS — January 13, 2021— MRC announced today the appointment of Jocelyn Cooley as Chief Human Resources Officer, reporting directly to co-CEOs Asif Satchu and Modi Wiczyk. In her role, Cooley will be responsible for leading the company’s functions around human capital management, including organizational development and training, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations. Additionally, Cooley will partner with Satchu, Wiczyk and team on the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.

Cooley brings extensive experience to the role, having recently run her own consultancy, with a focus on strategic human resources and talent management. She previously served as Corporate Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Viacom and led global talent acquisition. Prior to her role at Viacom Corporate, Cooley served as SVP Human Resources and Talent Management at BET Networks, where she strategically transformed BET’s approach to human capital management. Earlier in her career, Cooley managed corporate, AOL and Time Warner Cable’s recruitment efforts at Time Warner in its worldwide recruitment and executive search group. Cooley was a member of the board of directors for Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), recently completing her tenure as treasurer.
