LOS ANGELES, CA (December 9, 2020) – dick clark productions (dcp) and Tubefilter announced today that digital creators and global influencers Juanpa Zurita, Kyle Exum, Lilly Singh, Liza Koshy, Marques Brownlee, NikkieTutorials and PatrickStarrr will bestow the first-ever Streamys Creator Honors during the “2020 YouTube Streamy Awards.” These past Streamys winners will present unique tributes to creators whose work has personally resonated with them in 2020.
The 10th Anniversary show will be hosted by dynamic duo and four-time Streamy Award nominees Trixie Mattel and Katya from the Streamys’ “Glamtram” which will travel all over Los Angeles surprising creators at their homes, revealing this year’s winners of classic Streamy Award categories. The “2020 YouTube Streamy Awards” will premiere Saturday, December 12th at 6pm PT/9pm ET on youtube.com/streamys.
This year’s show includes creator-led spotlights, which will shed light on important cultural and social issues that have impacted us globally in 2020. Social justice activist and LGBTQ+ advocate Amber Whittington (Ambers Closet), will give an eye-opening presentation on race and representation, Canadian digital creators AsapSCIENCE will give an informative and educational presentation on COVID adaptability, and author, podcast host and purpose coach Jay Shetty, will give an inspiring presentation on mental health and wellness.
